Apply for an ArkLaTex 100 Club Grant

The primary goal of the ArkLaTex 100 Club is to raise funds to benefit the dependents of first responders lost in the line of duty. Remaining funds are used to purchase unbudgeted but necessary life-saving equipment and training for police and fire agencies in Bowie and Miller Counties.

Grant applications are accepted June 15-July 31 each year. Bowie County Sheriff’s Office, Miller County Sheriff’s Office, Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, and Texarkana Texas Police Department may request up to $7,000. All other law enforcement or fire department entities in Bowie and Miller County may apply for up to $3,000. Grants must support the organizational mission. Limited funds of approximately $45,000 are available for these grants each year.

Note: Additional consideration will be given to departments that attach a full description of the intent of the items or services to be purchased with the grant, proof that a competitive price has been or will be received before purchasing, and fall in line with the Arklatex 100 mission of purchasing unbudgeted but necessary life-saving equipment or additional training to prevent the loss of life.
