Supporting Our Local Police & Fire Departments

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Our Purpose

The sole purpose of the ArkLaTex 100 Club is to benefit our local police and fire fighters in Bowie and Miller Counties.

We support first responders.

The goal of the Arklatex 100 Club is to raise funds for the dependents of our first responders lost in the line of duty. Remaining funds will be used to purchase any unbudgeted but necessary life-saving equipment and additional training.

“Of all of the community partnerships the Texarkana Texas Police Department has had during my tenure with the department, the Ark-La-Tex 100 Club has been one of the most valuable.

Immediately upon its inception, the Ark-La-Tex 100 Club began building relationships with police and fire departments throughout Bowie and Miller County to not only provide for the benevolence of our families in the event of a line of duty death, but also assess the needs of each department to assist in providing for the safety of the men and women of our departments to help minimize the risk for line of duty deaths.

This is done through specialized grants to provide much needed life-saving equipment that was not provided for in our departmental budgets. They award these specialized grants fairly among the departments in their service area which was no easy task.

When you give to the Ark-La-Tex 100 Club, not only are you ensuring that our families will be cared for in the event of a line of duty death, but you are also helping our departments receive the training and equipment we need to help safeguard our lives.”

Kevin Schutte
Police Chief, Texarkana Texas Police Department

“During my law enforcement career, I have never known of another nonprofit organization who raises funds to assist local law enforcement and firefighters. The ArkLaTex 100 Club has been very generous to the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office. With their grants, we have been able to purchase equipment vital to keeping our deputies safe.”

Jeff Neal
Chief Deputy, Bowie County Sheriff's Office
